It’s quite a well-known fact that celebrities have a whirlwind lifestyle. One day they’re in one city and the next day they could be on an entirely different continent. She follows a carefully crafted fitness schedule

Meesha Shafi is not just a singer but also mother of two young kids. Having two kids under the age of 5 can be a little tough but Meesha and her husband are both dedicated to personal health and fitness. For this reason, Meesha has a properly planned fitness schedule which allows her and her husband to take care of themselves while also being dedicated parents.

She does a lot of Yoga

The only exercise Meesha does is yoga. She started doing this about 1.5 years ago when her second child had just turned one. Meesha opted for yoga as a way to decompress and attain mental and physical strength. Having great genes really does help her as she doesn’t gain weight that easily and hence does not opt for hardcore cardio and other exercises that require a lot of physical exertion.

…And we mean a lot of Yoga!

Meesha does yoga 3 to 4 times a week and for an hour at least.

She even does Yoga while traveling

Meesha is very committed to her health and a testament to this is the fact that she even does yoga while she is traveling. Once while talking to Dawn she stated, “I do Hatha yoga mixed with some Vinyasa for more of a workout. A basic 30-minute sequence with about 5 to 10 minutes of breathing at the start. Some of my favorites are: Mountain, Butterfly, Downward/Upward Dog, Pigeon, Warrior 1, 2 and 3, Crow, Wheel, shoulder stand and a headstand to finish it all off with an inversion. And last, but not least, Savasana (Corpse pose).”

She keeps an all-natural diet

An all-natural diet is something Meesha is very serious about. She has stopped including processed sugar or salt in their household grocery items. She avoids junk food and always opts for home-made food. And at her house, you’ll only find healthy snacks like fruits and yogurt.
